A little quaint fishing village in Mahon with a few paddle boats and traditional Spanish restaurants. A place to visit if you're planning a trip there. Tranquil, peaceful and beautiful surroundings with outstanding views. One in particular restaurant stood out for me, "Miramar" the place where I tried tapas for the first time. Crispy but juicy baby cuttlefish with garlicky mayo and olive oil and patatas bravas, a potato dish with a spicy tomato sauce. And then we shared a whole fish together watching the sunset in the distance on the horizon.
Holidays are most exceptional when you can just relax, take in the fresh sea air, listen to the waves crashing against the side of the rocks, playing cards before dinner, wallowing in the pool, fishing for your dinner and walking along the promenade late at night. Well that's what made this holiday special anyways.
